Problem
A license is being displayed with the comment "Verification Pending" or "Expired" in the Steinberg Activation Manager or in your MySteinberg account.
Background
In these cases, an update/upgrade from an eLicenser-based product to a successor version using Steinberg Licensing was initiated. To complete the update/upgrade, it was originally necessary to update the old eLicenser-based license by entering a provided Activation Code.
Since the eLicenser service was discontinued on May 20, 2025, the intended process can no longer be completed. The required Activation Code can no longer be used in the eLicenser Control Center.

Please contact our support team.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to update the old eLicenser-based license. However, we will be happy to help you permanently activate the expired or pending license in the Steinberg Activation Manager.
