Problem
When trying to log in to the Steinberg Download Assistant on macOS 27 (Golden Gate), a warning appears stating that "a keychain cannot be found to store authorization."
Background
The warning appears only on macOS 27 if the Steinberg Download Assistant is automatically started by the installer. This is the default behavior if the “Launch the Steinberg Download Assistant” option is not deselected during installation.
Workaround
Please do not choose to "reset to defaults." Instead, click "Cancel" when the warning appears. Afterward, Steinberg Download Assistant will launch as usual.
In some cases, it might be necessary to log in again. But next time you start Steinberg Download Assistant, the automatic login will work again.
The issue will be resolved in a future maintenance update.
