Hier findest Du aktuelle Informationen über die Entwicklung und Zertifizierung unserer Steinberg-Produkte für macOS Big Sur (macOS 11). macOS Big Sur wurde im November 2020 veröffentlicht und ersetzt macOS Catalina.
Neben dem neuen Betriebssystem hat Apple auch eine neue Hardware-Plattform vorgestellt: Apple Silicon 'System on a Chip (SoC)' Systeme. Während viele unserer aktuellen Produkte bereits mit Big Sur auf Intel-basierten Systemen kompatibel sind und über Rosetta 2 auch auf Apple Silicon-basierten Systemen laufen, sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass andere Software und Hardware (Plug-ins, Treiber etc.), die zusammen mit unseren Produkten auf macOS Big Sur (und Apple Silicon Hardware) laufen sollen, ebenfalls offiziell kompatibel sind!
Wichtig:
- Nativer Apple silicon Support (Stand Dezember 2021): Alle kommenden großen Produkt-Veröffentlichungen werden als native Anwendungen verfügbar sein und nicht mehr auf Rosetta 2 angewiesen sein.
- Bitte verwende grundsätzlich die aktuellen Updates!
- Informationen über die Kompatibilität neuerer Produkte, die unten nicht aufgeführt sind, findest Du in den Systemvoraussetzungen.
- Ältere Produkte, die in nicht aufgelistet sind, unterstützen macOS Big Sur nicht. Für diese Produkte sind auch keine macOS Big Sur-spezifischen Updates geplant.
