Steinberg Remote Support

After consultation with the support team, a remote session is possible in which a connection to your computer is established using the "Steinberg Remote Support" program. This is a variant of the "TeamViewer QuickSupport" software created for Steinberg.

Please note that we only offer this service in special cases.
An unannounced remote session is generally not possible.

Steinberg Remote Support

Please download the software in good time before your appointment with Steinberg Support. It can be started without installation. Just a short setup is required before use.

  • Click on the link to start the download:
    Download Steinberg Remote Support (German)
    Download Steinberg Remote Support (English)
  • After downloading, start the TeamViewer QuickSupport file by double-clicking.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions. In particular, on macOS, "TeamViewer QuickSupport" must be given sufficient permissions in the system settings. Any existing permissions for "TeamViewer" cannot be used.
  • If the requirements are met, the "Steinberg Remote Support" window will open and you will see an ID and password. These credentials are required for the remote session.
  • You are now ready for your appointment with Steinberg Support.
