Problem

Cubasis remains silent on Android 13 when using an external audio interface (USB).

Background

The cause is a bug in Android 13 that occurred when MIDI 2.0 support was introduced. 

If you are using Cubase with an audio interface and your tablet or phone is running Android 12, we recommend not updating to Android 13 for now.

Workaround

Cubasis 3.5.1 introduced a new option in the setup to disable MIDI I/O. This works around the audio problem, but MIDI hardware can no longer be used.
