Cubase iC Pro is an app for iOS, iPadOS, and Android that lets you control Cubase from a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi.

Installing Cubase iC Pro on the smartphone / tablet
The installation of Cubase iC Pro on the mobile device is done via
Apple's App Store (iOS, iPadOS) or Google Play (Android).

Cubase
A compatible Cubase version must already be installed before installing the Steinberg SKI Remote extension.
All versions of Cubase 11 and later can be controlled remotely with Cubase iC Pro:
Cubase AI, Cubase LE, Cubase Elements, Cubase Artist and Cubase Pro
Bonjour
Bonjour is a network protocol used by Cubase iC Pro that must be installed separately on Windows computers. On Apple computers, Bonjour is already included in the operating system.

Steinberg SKI Remote
In addition to Bonjour, Cubase iC Pro also requires the free Steinberg SKI Remote extension.

Setting up remote control in Cubase
- Make sure that the computer and the mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Launch your version of Cubase.
- Select “Studio Setup...” from the Studio menu.
- The “Studio Setup” window opens.
- Click “+” in the upper-left corner next to “Add Device”.
- In the pull-down menu, select “Steinberg SKI Remote” to add Steinberg SKI Remote to the list of “Remote Devices”.
- Launch Cubase iC Pro on your mobile device.
