Problema

Cubase y Nuendo no pueden iniciarse porque la aplicación se congela cuando aparece “Initializing: All MIDI Inputs” en la pantalla de carga.

Contexto

Microsoft ha comenzado recientemente el despliegue de una nueva implementación de MIDI (incluido MIDI 2.0) para Windows 11 24H2 y 25H2:

Lamentablemente, esto ha provocado una serie de problemas con determinados dispositivos MIDI y configuraciones de hardware, por lo que los servicios MIDI no pueden inicializarse correctamente. Como resultado, aplicaciones como Cubase y Nuendo pueden congelarse durante el proceso de inicialización.

Solución

Microsoft started rolling out a Windows update on April 30, 2026, that addresses this issue. Therefore, check whether Windows updates are available on your computer and ensure that you have installed the latest updates for Windows.
