Problem

The plug-in validation and initialization fail when using Steinberg VST Instruments (HALion, Padshop, etc.) in an Audio Unit host on macOS High Sierra and Catalina.

Workaround

Please start the eLicenser Control Center before the host application the plug-ins are supposed to be used in and keep it running.

Solution

We are working on a permanent solution to this issue.
