Cubase 8 or later/Nuendo 6 or later |
Cubase Artist 8 or later |
|
Problem |
CurveEQ opens as demo version in Cubase or Nuendo, even though the plug-in is included. |
CurveEQ refuses to open or opens as demo version in Cubase Artist. |
Reason |
Licenses for Cubase and Nuendo only cover the CurveEQ version that is being installed automatically with the program files. If a newer CurveEQ version has been installed separately, only the unlicensed version is available in Cubase and Nuendo. In this case, CurveEQ does not find a matching license and will only run in demo mode. | CurveEQ is not covered by the Cubase Artist license. |
Solution |
Fortunately, the CurveEQ that comes with Cubase/Nuendo is not affected by a separate CurveEQ installation. It will only be ignored by Cubase/Nuendo if a newer and unlicensed version is available.
|
Unfortunately, there is no real solution apart from not using CurveEQ in Cubase Artist.
