macOS Sonoma: Silent parts in audio exported from Cubase/Nuendo

Problem

Audio mixdowns exported from Cubase/Nuendo (File > Export > Audio Mixdown) contain silent gaps.

Background

The gaps in the audio mixdown occur only when audio is exported directly to exFAT-formatted disks under macOS Sonoma installations older than macOS 14.5.

Solution

Please update to macOS 14.5.
