Problem

During the audio mixdown/export with Nuendo 8, Windows freezes. To be able to continue work, the system must be restarted.

Reason

The problem only occurs on Windows systems equipped with a NVIDIA Quadro graphics card.

Solution

NVIDIA recommends the following steps to affected customers:

• Open the NVIDIA control panel.
• Go to 3D Settings ▸ Manage 3D Settings ▸ Global Settings.
• Set the 'Global preset' to 'Workstation App - Dynamic Streaming'.
• Click 'Apply' and close the control panel.
