On September 15, 2026, Apple released macOS Golden Gate (macOS 27), the successor to macOS Tahoe (macOS 26).
We recommend that you wait to update to macOS Golden Gate until your Steinberg product is listed as compatible in one of the lists linked here .
Older products that are not listed are not supported under macOS Golden Gate and will not receive any further updates.
For newer releases or products not named, please check the latest system requirements.
Compatibility of Steinberg software with macOS 27
Macs with Intel-based processors are no longer supported by macOS Golden Gate. However, using software designed for Intel-based processors is still possible in principle via Rosetta 2, even though there are now very few use cases for it.
