Since April 1, 2025, Yamaha has been providing support for all Steinberg-branded devices.

Please contact your local Yamaha support team for assistance with using your Steinberg hardware.

Information on returning and repairing Steinberg hardware

Steinberg hardware has been developed in cooperation with YAMAHA, which contributes to its excellent quality. However, hardware problems might occur that would require a repair of the unit.

To rule out other reasons for a defect as well as to avoid an unnecessary return of the hardware, please observe the following steps in advance:

  • The hardware's manual and additional documentation may provide important information regarding faulty operation. Please read the documentation carefully, in particular "Troubleshooting" at the back of the manual.

  • Check our download pages for hardware updates. Documentation for old devices may also be available for download there.
  • Browse the Help Center for more useful information on the product.
  • In case the above-mentioned points are of no help to you, we recommend, if possible, installing the hardware on another system to exclude a possible malfunction of the computer system.

If the issue should persist, please reach out to the dealer from whom you purchased the unit or to your local YAMAHA support team (see country list below). Here you will receive further support and, if necessary, a "return merchandise authorization" (RMA) for the repair.

Please note that devices sent in without return merchandise authorization cannot be processed and will be returned at your expense.
