Problem
When trying to start WaveLab on a Windows N system, an error message appears, complaining about a missing WMVCORE.DLL.
It is also possible that even the installation of WaveLab on Windows N systems terminates with 'Error 1603'.
Reason
N editions of Windows have a limited feature set. They lack the WMVCORE.DLL and other standard media components that WaveLab and many other media programs rely on.
Solution
Microsoft provides a so called 'Media Feature Pack' that equips Windows N installations with the missing media-related features.
Windows 10 N: Download
Windows 8 N: Download
Windows 7 N: Download
