Problem

On some Windows 7 installations, the latest version of the eLicenser Control Center (6.10.5.1203) cannot be started. When trying to run the eLicenser Control Center, the following system error appears:

'The program can't start because
api-ms-win-core-winrt-string-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.'

Solution

The missing component can be installed manually or by updating Windows using Winodws Update.
