Problem

Cubase crashes right after being started as soon as the Steinberg Hub appears.

AND/OR

eLicenser Control Center crashes when attempting to download a license.

Reason

The crashes are occuring on systems on which outdated OpenSSL libraries have been installed by open source software.

Solution

The issue can easily be resolved by installing the latest eLicenser Control Center.
