Problem

You have successfully downloaded a license for HALion content created by a 3rd party manufacturer. In the eLicenser Control Center, it is being displayed as a 'HALion 3rd Party Content' license. However, when you try to use the HALion content, an error message appears reporting that the needed license is missing.

Reason

This problem may occur when the installation of the eLicenser Control Centers is outdated. More precisely, if a product is newer than the already installed version of the eLicenser Control Center, the license cannot be recognized properly and will be displayed with an incorrect name or even might be missing completely. 

Solution

Please simply install the latest version of the eLicenser Control Center.

After the installation has been completed, open the eLicenser Control Center and apply the 'Maintenance & Online Synchronisation' by clicking on "Perform Maintenance Tasks" (or click on the 'Maintenance' button if not shown).
