In case the Soft-eLicenser has been deactivated (red font in eLicenser Control Center), please follow these steps:
- Close all programs.
- Download and install the latest eLicenser Control Center.
- Run the eLicenser Control Center (Windows: Programs, Mac: Applications).
- Apply the 'Maintenance & Online Synchronisation' by clicking on 'Perform Maintenance Tasks' (or click on the 'Maintenance' button if not shown).
In case the Soft-eLicenser stays deactivated, please contact us using the support form within your MySteinberg account. Please name the number of the affected Soft-eLicenser and, if possible, attach screenshots showing the eLicenser Control Center window.
Possible solution for Windows only
Running the eLicenser Control Center and/or a Steinberg application in Compatibility Mode can cause license issues. To check whether Compatibility Mode is enabled or not, right-click on the corresponding shortcut on the Desktop, select 'Properties' from the contextual menu and switch to the 'Compatibility' tab. Alternatively, you can also right-click on the application's *.exe file.

Windows 32-Bit: C:\Program Files\eLicenser\eLCC\eLCC.exe
Windows 64-Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\eLicenser\eLCC\eLCC.exe
