No key commands or keyboard shortcuts are available in Dorico 1.0.30 when running in the German language
When running Dorico in German, or when choosing 'German' as the Keyboard Language on the Key Commands page of Preferences, no key commands work in the application, and no key commands are shown in any of Dorico's menus.
This problem is caused by a syntax error in the default German-language key commands file supplied with Dorico 1.0.30.
To resolve this problem, download the keycommands_de.zip file from the bottom of this page and uncompress the archive. The archive contains a single file, keycommands_de.json, which you need to copy to the appropriate location as follows:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. In the address bar, type (or copy and paste): %APPDATA%\Steinberg\Dorico
1. In the Finder, choose Go > Go To Folder.
2. In the window that appears, type (or copy and paste): ~/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico, then click Go.
Important! Be sure to include the tilde (~) at the start of the path shown above on Mac.
In the folder that is opened, drag the extracted keycommands_de.json file, then restart Dorico.
